You can register in person at one of our three library branches. Please bring your valid photo ID or your passport and registration card (“Meldezettel”). 

We give out memberships to children of 5 years and older for free. However, children under the age of 16 need a signed liability statement of the parent or legal guardian.

Membership for institutions

Teachers, daycare workers, and persons working in any other educational field can ask for a free membership for institutions solely for business purposes.
